PREP BOYS' BASKETBALL: Sehome earns NWC victory

The Sehome boys' basketball team earned a 74-64 victory Thursday, Dec. 16, in its Northwest Conference opener at Sedro-Woolley.
John Albert had 15 points, six rebounds and three assists, and Kevin Virk scored 12 points for the Mariners, who improved to 4-1 on the season.
Sehome coach A.J. LaBree said solid contributions by many players contributed to the victory and was happy with the play of Titi Lamositele, who scored eight points.
"Titi saw his first considerable amount of varsity minutes tonight," LaBree said in a phone interview, "and really played well, played good defense and really hustled - everybody hustled, really."
Sehome will play against Lakewood its next game at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, at Lakewood.
